Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental clinic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position requires a strong understanding of dental practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Being a team player is necessary!

Duties:
  • Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, utilizing four-handed dentistry techniques to ensure efficiency and patient comfort.
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in compliance with infection control protocols.
  • Take and develop X-rays as needed, ensuring adherence to safety standards.
  • Perform vital signs assessments and maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
  • Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft and Open Dental for scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and medical coding.
  • Operate 3D scanners for imaging purposes when required.
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience:
  • Previous experience in a dental clinic setting is preferred (3 years); we welcome candidates eager to learn more.
  • Familiarity with dental software systems, particularly Eaglesoft and Open Dental, is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of infection control protocols and HIPAA regulations is essential.
  • Experience with X-ray technology and taking vital signs is beneficial.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.

Job Type: Full-time.

Pay: $18 - $27 per hour.

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week.
